Dixieland

Dixieland is located about 2.5 miles East of Austin's Auto on the south side of Highway 98. If you decide to visit this area here are a few things to consider. Gas and food are very close buy. When you pull in to Dixieland you will see a deep ditch that runs down the left side of the property all the way to the back, stay out of the ditch towards the rear of the property. A neighborhood is being built there and the people that have there backyard next to the ditch will call the cops because of the noise you create. As always only bring in what you intend to bring out and Definitely Never Throw Trash Out Of The Vehicle. We have clean-up trailrides on this property often due to the amount of household trash that gets dumped there. The last cleanup we held, 3000#'s of trash was hauled to the dump. If you see anyone illegally dumping, please call the cops and report there license plate number and so on. This area is fun, but is rather deep in the pond. If you go to the back there is usually lots of mud that has been known to engulf 38's. You should always use the buddy system when trail riding.
