Scavans was chosen for Day 2 events because we knew we could spend the whole day trailriding
in this area and it also has a nice sandbar that goes a good 300' into the bay. The sand bar is a good spot for lunch as well
as a good spot for the kids to get out and play. We did alot of trailriding and ended up at a trail that to this day we haven't
made it all the way through. It is very muddy with stumps as obstacles. It takes a skilled driver with a capable vehicle to
navigate this trail. I would say that by the time I, trail leader, got 400' down the trail I was recieving numerous radio
contacts saying who was stuck. By the time I made another 100', I was recieving numerous radio contacts that alot of people
wanted to turn around. We did take a vote before entering the trail and it was agreed to try the trail and we did, the trail
won. So as to where the trail goes, we still don't know. But I must say that I was glad everyone wanted to turn around because
by the time I got turned around the bugs where about to carry us off. You can beleive we will conquer this trail, eventually.
These are all the pics I have of this day, so please send all
pics to brady@rideoptions.com and I will get them posted ASAP.
