Day 1- Dixieland

Dixieland was selected as the site for Day 1 due to it's proximity to Austin's Auto and it has some good mud as well as a big pond which was pretty high due to all the rain in previous weeks. Though noone ventured into the pond, the temptation was definitely there. We had 2 Jeeps from South Florida with snorkels who wanted to but changed there mind as the water never quit rising on upon testing the water. We had Lucifer attempt a couple of test entries, due to his 38" tires, but even he decided that the water was just to deep. While playing in the back in the mud, Shawn and his Landcruiser found a stump in a hole which has been drivin through on many occasions, but apparently the stump only likes Landcruisers. Shawn and a group of attendees prevailed over the stump and we greatly appreciate them clearing this obstruction out of the hole for the locals. Which Shawn is a local, so he definitely knows of one hole that is stump free.
